BORN FROM PASSION
A Colombian family, a Québec heart, a shared mission.
Hygièna-Net was born from a passion for improving maintenance, hygiene and safety in homes, care centres and hospitals. Founded by Hector and Esmid Ospinal, a Colombian immigrant family proudly established in Québec for over 20 years.

For over 20 years in Québec, Hector and Esmid Ospinal have built Hygièna-Net from a simple but powerful conviction: a clean space brings peace of mind. Their journey as Colombian immigrants, their work ethic and their deep respect for their adopted community are at the heart of every service offered.
Hector first developed deep expertise in commercial maintenance, working in the most demanding sectors: factories, buildings, offices. It was in these environments that he identified unmet needs — such as the difficulty of keeping floors clean during harsh Québec winters — and where he designed his first protection products.
Together they created a company that is today much more than a cleaning service: it is a promise of quality, environmental responsibility and inclusion.

Hector and Esmid settle in Québec, bringing with them a passion for hard work and a desire to contribute to their new community.

The commercial and industrial cleaning service is created, with a motivated and rigorous team. First clients immediately notice the quality difference.

Innovation: the first products
Facing the challenges of the Québec winter, Hector designs the first DURA-MAX Boot Covers — born from field experience, designed to solve a real problem. The protection product line takes shape.

Social commitment with Croissance Travail
Hygièna-Net partially partners with Croissance Travail to promote workforce inclusion, integrating recycled materials into its products and supporting jobs in the Québec region.
